Adorable book and teaches things to help older sibling feel loved and needed in their new role!

My son LOVES this book. I am thrilled that it teaches him some of the things that he can do to help when the baby arrives. He is 19 months just to give you an age range. I also like how the book points out that he is an important part of the family even though there is a new baby. This would be a great gift for anyone expecting their second child!

Cute book for big brothers

Cute book. I read it to my 2 year old every night because he will have a little brother coming home soon. The illustrations are cute and the content is the right amount. My son asks for it now. I like that it can be read now as we prep for our new arrival but will still work after the baby has come. Some of the other books prepping for a new baby seem to only work for the pregnancy stage.

Good book for beginners

I was hoping it would address advanced key management scenarios. For example, is creating a master signing key without an expiration and then an expiring signing subkey for everyday use a good idea? Or maybe evening multiple signing subkeys (e.g., one for personal and one for work?) GPG supports this, allowing you to keep the private portion of the master signing key out of your everyday keyrings. But what are the downsides of this? The book does not address much beyond a basic setup.

A good book for beginners, but not much that cannot be gleaned from the man page (if you're a GPG user.)

The essential guide to Open PGP for email

Pretty Good Privacy and Phil Zimmerman are computer counterculture legends. By putting secure communication into the hands of anyone with a computer, Zimmerman both launched a revolution and stirred the ire of the U.S. government. After suffering under -- and prevailing over -- severe FBI harassment and malicious prosecution, Zimmerman and his open PGP encryption tool have demolished government attempts to control cryptography. After sixteen years, PGP still has no equal as an enabler of private communication.

This book focuses on the use of PGP as an email encryption tool, although PGP can be used as a general purpose file encryption utility as well. After summarizing the history of PGP and the Open PGP standard, author Michael Lucas clearly and concisely describes how public key encryption with Open PGP can secure routine email messages. This is a how-to guide that gives you the essential understanding you need to quickly make practical use of PGP and its non-commercial cousin Gnu Privacy Guard (GPG).

Lucas' exposition explains PGP better than any previously published treatment -- either in print or online -- I've read. If you need to encrypt, you need to encrypt with PGP. Which means you need this book.

Good as an introduction, but nothing more

This is a concise introduction to email encryption for people who don't care about prime numbers. It nicely covers all real-life topics users of PGP and GPG are likely to be interested in. Two problems: First, there is a substantial number of typos, as if the book had never been proofread. There is a significant error in chapter 4 -- if you follow the instructions for generating new keys using the command-line (Unix) version of GPG, you will end up with un-usable keys (without subkeys). Accept all default values and you will have no problems. Second, since the book covers several specific versions of PGP and GPG, the user of any specific version will only use 50% of the book at best (and the book is a slim one to start with). As a result, this book should be considered as a basic introduction only, to be read once and never looked at again.

A motivational master piece

I loved this book. It has been such a great motivational tool to help me get through some tough difficult times. This book really helped me think about my life, and even though I was facing some issues that were brought into my life it helped me realize that my life isn't that bad and that it really could be worse. It made me realize that I need to very thankful for what I have and that I am healthy, I have a great job, a beautiful daughter, loving family and friends that have always supported me. It has also made think about being around so many negative to not dwell on the negative, but always think positive. My favorite part was from Clark's wife Anita Bartram " Understanding this. If you don't love yourself right now, in whatever state you're in, losing weight or getting six-pack abs won't change things. Accepting who you are and how special and unique God made you God made you is more important that you realize. It's like that saying " if you're not happy with one dollar, then you won't be happy with a million. Focus on the good things you offer the world, instead of how much better you think other people are, and who you'll put yourself on an incredibly path to success and freedom". This quote really helped me think about the situation I was in and really helped me through.It turn this negative situation into such a positive thing into my life. Thank you Clark for creating this amazing book that is now helping me to live a happy, healthier life.

A motivating MUST read!

Let me start off by admitting, I'm NOT a "book" person...never did enjoy picking up a book to read - the only books I ever read were in school if I wanted to come out with some knowledge and decent grades.
I met Clark Bartram just over a year ago - loved his positive, motivating personality! So, when I found out about this book and that it was an "easy" read I considered it. But as I thought more about what I could possibly take away from it, I was all over it!
I will be reading Chapter 10 as soon as I finish this review, but I had to just share that I'm ONLY here sharing because of Chapter 9! Chapter 9 is about instant gratification...I wanted to crawl back in bed this morning after getting my kids off to school (cause I was feeling lazy) - well, I knew that if I had...I'd be upset with myself the rest of the day! I made a choice to get my day going, and because of that choice...I'm sharing right here and planning out my busy day!
I look forward to each Chapter - I'm not going to cheat and read it all in one day (instant gratification)...I'll be reading it a day at a time - this is a MUST READ book, I've shared it with a number of people and they've got theirs ordered!

Absolutely inspiring read

Last year I lost 30 pounds and at an I Showed Up Event offered by the Saba company that Clark is a spokesperson for I got the privilege to work out with him. It was at this event when he spoke that I was totally moved by what he said and after that I knew I had to have his book. This year since I wanted to work on becoming the best me I can be. The minute I opened this book and started reading I knew that this book would help me with this journey. If you are looking for something to inspire you to be a better you I highly recommend reading this book. I can vouch for Clark after meeting him and I look forward to seeing him again in the future and learning more from him. You MUST get this book....I now have a life statement that I am living for every day and am more positive in my thoughts and actions! There are so many lessons to be learned I am taking it slow so it all sinks in.
